Can a non-alcoholic brewery make a Double IPA? I love Double IPAs and I also know that they usually have a higher alcohol content than regular IPAs. It turns out that the alcohol “doubling” is not a necessary component of making one.
Because Two Roots Brewing has managed to make a very resinous, bitter hoppy, and floral non-alcoholic DIPA in Resin Riot. I dare describe the drinking experience as oily—the hops stick to your tongue and linger there with their deep bitterness.
Resin Riot pours a nice head that recedes slowly. Boasting the following four types of hops, this NA DIPA smells floral and citrusy: Citra, Simcoe, Eureka, Centennial Lupin.
Tastes like pine and dankness with a bitter bite. With a medium body and a very resinous taste and feel, Resin Riot is a hop feast in a can!
A great fall beer for the true IPA lovers in your life. This ain’t no hazy. It’s hops on hops on hops (and more hops).
Available online while this batch lasts. Get it at Two Roots and take advantage of free shipping with the purchase of two 6-packs (or more).
You really can’t go wrong with any of the beers in their catalog. I’ve now tried them all and Two Roots Brewing is an outstanding nonalcoholic brewery that’s nailed every style they’ve put their minds too. I hope they add a stout to their catalog very soon.
