This nonalcoholic beer from one of the giants in the brewing industry hits the mark. Samuel Adams’ Just the Haze is balanced, smooth, crisp, and a bit foamy.
This brew has a lot of body and a full mouthfeel, making it very satisfying as a buzz free alternative. A hazy IPA in style, this brew drinks very easily, starting off with citrus and some malt, and flowing into a sweet fruity finish that reminds me of peaches and honey.
This is a perfect summer beer, refreshing you on a hot afternoon.
I include Just the Haze among a small selection of likeable beers that I’ll bring with me to share at outings with friends, who are new to the NA brew scene. The other varieties include Clausthaler Dry Hopped and Two Roots Enough Said Helles.
I’ll ask:
Do you prefer beers that are sweet, malty, or hoppy?
Depending on their answer, I’ll suggest they try Sam Adams’ Just the Haze for those with a sweet tooth, Clausthaler Dry Hopped for those who appreciate more malt, and Two Roots Enough Said Helles for a hoppy lager.
I stumbled upon the last 6-pack of its kind at my local Dan’s grocery store. Since Samuel Adams has deep market penetration, you may very well find Just the Haze at a grocery store near you. Unfortunately the beer locator tool on the Sam Adams’ website doesn’t seem to work very well so I am not recommending it here.
